Silent
Strength is a re-release, first published in 1989. It contains poetry
that is as full and visually tactile as the brilliant photography in the
book. In hard times such as these, Linda Montgomery offers a soft place
to land. The author captured the images in this book between 1975 and
1983. At the peak of her career as a photographer, she lost her
eyesight. She then discovered a deeper truth within. There is something subtly different about this book. The "earthiness" of the soul becomes clear through images and poetic interplay; one rises up the Divine and is then delivered into the beauty of Nature. I love to soar higher and higher buoyed by air, and light, and angels. Now I can see that I must expand my awareness to include the ground I walk on… If you want a way to soften into the miracle of the heart and Nature, Linda Joy Montgomery has cleared the way. May we all be blessed with Silent Strength.
