Silent Strength portrays a journey in spiritual awareness. The book's scenic images were captured on film by the author between 1975 and 1983. At the peak of her photographic career, this visual odyssey ended with the loss of her eyesight.

The author recalls, "I thought my purpose was to help people to appreciate the love and beauty of planet earth through my photography." Yet, her path led her to discover a deeper truth; the beauty we perceive with our eyes is but a reflection of the vast expanse of beauty, divine love and peace that exist within each of us. Living in the dark prompted her to focus more deeply within, offering new insights using meditation, dreams, and prayers. Through these avenues, inspirational poetry emerged as well as the divine orchestration for the layout of the book.

During the course of two printings, culminating in this hardcover creation, the author also endured the challenges of hemodialysis, two kidney transplants and the partial amputation of her right foot. She reveals that each experience of loss led her more deeply to the recognition of her wholeness.

The stark reality of world events has called each of us to open our hearts and minds to a higher consciousness. In our quest for new understanding, may we all be blessed with Silent Strength.
